A 29-year-old woman from Houston, Texas, is now behind bars in Florida after she allegedly stabbed a former friend during a violent fight outside a 7-Eleven in Miami. What shocked police even more was that the suspect appeared to boast about the attack on Instagram Live—making shocking statements about her actions, with no signs of regret.
The Attack: From Hookah Lounge to 7-Eleven
According to the Miami Police Department, the stabbing happened on July 15, 2024, outside a 7-Eleven store in Liberty City, a neighbourhood in Miami. The suspect, Shakia Jenkins, and the victim, who has not been publicly named, had met earlier that night at Uncut Miami, a trendy hookah lounge.
The two women had agreed to “meet in Miami to fight” after tensions between them had grown over several months. When they arrived at the 7-Eleven, both exited their vehicles and approached each other. That’s when things turned violent.
During the physical fight, the victim reportedly screamed, “She’s stabbing me,” after being struck in the face with a small black knife. Police say Jenkins stabbed the victim multiple times before fleeing the scene.
A Social Media Confession
What happened next made the case even more disturbing. Jenkins later went on Instagram Live, where she allegedly bragged about the stabbing in front of her viewers. According to the criminal complaint, she said:
“Call me Chucky and Michael Myers, ho.”
When asked why she stabbed the victim, Jenkins reportedly replied:
“That ho lucky her family ain’t making a GoFundMe right now… I ain’t sorry, b—. At all. I’ll do it again.”
Investigators reviewed videos and posts from Instagram and Facebook, where Jenkins admitted to trying to stab the victim in the eye and forehead. She even said:
“I should have finished that ho off… Stab that ho in her mother f—ing brain… and come out the back.”
A Broken Friendship Turned Violent
According to the police report, Jenkins and the victim were once friends, having met through social media in 2023. Their friendship reportedly ended in early 2024, following a fight at a Valentine’s Day party.
The reason for their falling out is still unclear, but the anger clearly remained, leading to this violent meeting in July.
Legal Charges and Criminal History
Jenkins has now been charged with attempted first-degree murder and is being held without bond in Miami. Court records show that she has previous convictions, including:
Grand theft in Florida
Fraud in Texas
With the weight of her criminal history and the shocking social media evidence, prosecutors are likely to push for a strong sentence.
This case shows how real-life violence can unfold and later be amplified on social media. What started as a personal dispute between two women ended in a brutal stabbing—followed by a public confession filled with anger and no remorse. As the legal process moves forward, many are left asking how personal conflicts can spiral so dangerously and why some people choose to brag about serious crimes online. For now, Shakia Jenkins faces the serious consequences of her actions—and the digital trail she left behind will likely play a key role in court.
