The incident occurred on Oct. 18, 2025, after Roman and her boyfriend, Bryan Hicks, had been arguing in Roman’s brand new Mitsubishi Outlander. The argument spilled out into the parking lot of the Olive Garden in North Las Vegas, where Hicks got out of the vehicle. Roman allegedly struck him with the Outlander, claiming she meant to put the car in reverse but accidentally accelerated forward. Prosecutors charge Roman with the “willful, deliberate and premeditated” murder of Hicks, while her defense attorney argues the incident was an accident.
Roman’s Reaction and Legal Proceedings
Roman allegedly tried to flee the scene after hitting Hicks, but an Olive Garden patron intervened, drawing a concealed firearm and ordering her to stop.
