A chaotic incident at a Costco gas station in Miami has led to serious charges after a confrontation between two women turned violent. What began as an argument quickly escalated into a physical fight involving unexpected weapons.
Woman Arrested After Costco Altercation
A 29-year-old woman, Valeria Aguilar, has been arrested following a fight at a Costco gas station. According to police, Aguilar was initially involved in a verbal dispute while fueling her vehicle, where she was reportedly shouting at other customers and an attendant.
The situation intensified when another customer intervened and suggested that Aguilar’s membership should be revoked, which reportedly angered her.
Argument Turns Into Physical Confrontation
Police said Aguilar chased the other woman’s vehicle on foot before returning to her car and following her to a nearby intersection. There, Aguilar allegedly approached the vehicle and attacked the driver, punching her and scratching her face and chest.
The confrontation became even more serious when the other woman defended herself using an ax multitool, striking Aguilar and causing injuries to her face and arms. Both individuals suffered cuts during the altercation.
Police Response and Arrest
After the fight, the other driver left the scene. Officers responded shortly after and took Valeria Aguilar to a hospital for treatment of her injuries.
Following medical care, she was arrested and charged with burglary with assault or battery. She was later booked into the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center, where a judge ordered that she be held without bond.
Investigation and Ongoing Case
Authorities are continuing to investigate the incident, including reviewing witness statements and any available surveillance footage. The identity of the other woman involved has not been publicly released.
