Richland County, South Carolina. Following a shooting near Irmo on Sunday morning, authorities say a woman was killed and a man was injured.
The Richland County Sheriff’s Department said deputies were called to Forest Walk Court, off Broad River Road, around 1:15 a.m., where they discovered a man nearby with an upper-body gunshot wound. The man was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment, but he was able to direct deputies to the scene of the shooting, where they discovered the suspect, 65-year-old Keith Bagley, drinking on the porch. Authorities said they discovered a woman with a gunshot wound nearby. She was pronounced dead on the scene.
Authorities did not provide details about what led up to the shooting, but they did say that all three people knew each other. Bagley was arrested and charged with murder, attempted murder, and two counts of having a weapon during a violent crime. He was taken to Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center, where he is awaiting a bond hearing.
