A woman in her 20s was seriously injured in a shooting at her home in Peckham, London, on Christmas Eve 2025, with her one-year-old son unharmed during the incident.​

Incident Details

Police responded to reports of gunshots at around 10:50 p.m. on Cronin Street, finding the victim with multiple gunshot wounds from bullets fired through her front door. Seven shots were discharged by two men in dark clothing, one wearing a gray hooded top and believed to carry the firearm.​

Suspect Description

The suspects fled on foot toward Commercial Way after the attack. The second man wore a dark-colored hooded top, and no arrests have been made as of the latest reports.​

Victim Status

The woman was hospitalized in critical condition over Christmas and remained under treatment as of January 10, 2026. Her child was present but uninjured.​

Police Appeal

Detective Inspector Jordan Gardner described the event as a shocking act of violence and urged witnesses near Cronin Street, Commercial Way, or Moody Road between 9:45 p.m. and 11:45 p.m. to share information, including CCTV or dash-cam footage.
