According to the NCPD, a guy was arrested for a road rage incident in January.

Alfred Benjamin Alston Jr., 65, from North Charleston, S.C., was arrested on March 27, 2026, for allegedly pointing a gun at a driver during a road rage incident on January 27 at Dorchester Road and Cross County Road.

Incident Breakdown

The victim stopped at a yellow-to-red light when Alston began honking, tailgating, then pulled ahead to block her path instead of passing. He reportedly aimed a firearm at her before she drove away, losing sight of him near Joint Base Charleston.

Arrest and Charges

North Charleston PD investigators identified Alston and took him into custody at his home. Charged with pointing and presenting a firearm at a person; booked at Al Cannon Detention Center. Road rage with weapons escalates risks—call 911 immediately and note details like vehicle/plate for safety.
