According to reports, two young girls jump out of their kidnapper's car to avoid being kidnapped.

Two teenage girls, aged around 12-16, escaped an attempted kidnapping in Los Angeles’ North Hills neighborhood on Sunday evening. The suspect repeatedly offered them a ride near North Hills Park, and after they entered his vehicle, he locked the doors and drove to a secluded cul-de-sac instead of their requested destination.

Incident Details

The man allegedly offered the girls money, alcohol, drugs, and sexual favors after exposing himself, prompting their escape—one while the car was stopped, the other while moving. Neither girl was physically injured, and they screamed for help as the suspect fled.

Suspect Description

He’s described as a 21-year-old Hispanic male with black hair, brown eyes, about 200 pounds, tattoos on both arms, last seen in an older four-door sedan. LAPD’s investigation is ongoing with no arrest reported.

Police Response

Detective Efren Gutierrez detailed the pursuit and offers to the girls, urging public tips via LAPD Mission Division. Authorities confirmed the Sunday timeline near Columbus Avenue, Acre Street, and Nordhoff Street.
