An 18-year-old Pennsylvania teen, Jarrod Noll, faces homicide and attempted homicide charges after allegedly shooting his parents on December 26, 2025, in Freeport Township, Greene County, killing his mother and wounding his father. Police responded around 2 p.m. to Garrison Ridge Road, finding the victims outside the home; the mother died at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, West Virginia, while the father was released in stable condition. Noll fled on foot, prompting a manhunt with dogs, helicopters, and ground teams, but he was arrested without incident the next day in Hundred, West Virginia, by state police.

Incident Details

Younger siblings were inside the home during the outdoor shooting and are now with a family member. Authorities described Noll as armed and dangerous, warning the public not to approach. The mother’s identity awaits confirmation from the West Virginia Chief Medical Examiner’s Office.
