Jarrod Noll, an 18-year-old from Pennsylvania, faces homicide and attempted homicide charges after allegedly shooting his parents on December 26, 2025, in Freeport Township, Greene County.

Incident Details

Pennsylvania State Police responded to a shooting report at a home on Garrison Ridge Road around 1:58 p.m. They found Noll’s mother with a fatal gunshot wound, who died at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, West Virginia; his father survived with stable injuries and was released. The shooting occurred outside the home while Noll’s younger siblings were inside and are now with family.

Manhunt and Arrest

Noll fled on foot, prompting a large-scale search with dogs, helicopters, and officers in rough terrain. West Virginia State Police arrested him without incident on December 27 in Hundred, West Virginia, after a tip from the public; he was armed at the time. He remains in custody awaiting extradition to Pennsylvania.
