Jarrod Noll, an 18-year-old from Pennsylvania, faces homicide and attempted homicide charges after allegedly shooting his parents on December 26, 2025, in Freeport Township, Greene County.​

Incident Details

Pennsylvania State Police responded to a shooting report at a home on Garrison Ridge Road around 1:58 p.m. They found Noll’s mother with a fatal gunshot wound, who died at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, West Virginia; his father survived with stable injuries and was released. The shooting occurred outside the home while Noll’s younger siblings were inside and are now with family.​

Manhunt and Arrest

Noll fled on foot, prompting a large-scale search with dogs, helicopters, and officers in rough terrain. West Virginia State Police arrested him without incident on December 27 in Hundred, West Virginia, after a tip from the public; he was armed at the time. He remains in custody awaiting extradition to Pennsylvania.
