A man, furious that his family is "treating him like an outcast," shoots nine shots into a random automobile, killing a woman and a one-year-old, according to authorities.

Ziaire Ham, 22, was arrested in Ogden, Utah, on March 3, 2026, for a Las Vegas double murder involving 21-year-old Danaijha Robinson and 1-year-old Nhalani Hiner.

Incident Details

While driving a stolen car during a family visit from Phoenix, Ham argued with relatives, pulled a gun, and fled, later claiming paranoia about being followed and a “bounty” on his head. He approached a parked car where Robinson held Hiner while their friend spoke to police nearby, demanded they exit, and fired nine shots into the vehicle when refused—surveillance captured him shooting, fleeing, and firing again at the front.

Confession and Victims

Ham admitted to detectives, “That’s when I lit up the car, I ain’t even gonna lie,” then grew hysterical upon realizing he killed a child, insisting he didn’t mean to harm anyone. Robinson and Hiner died at a hospital; the murder weapon was recovered in Ogden.

Arrest and Charges

Ogden police nabbed him after a failed traffic stop for reckless driving and the stolen vehicle; he requested Las Vegas detectives. Ham awaits extradition from Weber County Jail to Nevada for open murder with a deadly weapon charges.
