AUGUSTA, Georgia – Hajir Talebzedeh, a man suspected of fatally shooting his ex-wife and her mother in a Best Buy parking lot in Augusta in September 2025, appeared in court for the first time on Thursday.
On October 23, 2025, Magistrate Court Judge Lejoi Williamson heard testimony in the case and bound it over to superior court.
Talebzadeh faces two counts of murder and one count of child maltreatment.
Melissa Cui Domingo and Elizabeth Cui Domingo were both killed in the shooting.
The child cruelty charge pertains to the shooting that occurred in the presence of their 5-year-old son.
