Police responded to the deli at 4240 Hicksville Road around 9:11 a.m. after a report of a man with blood on his hands and clothing in the parking lot. They arrested D’Ambrosio there before discovering his mother, 62-year-old Angela Pulisciano, and father, 70-year-old Antonio D’Ambrosio, both stabbed in the throat; the mother was pronounced dead at the scene, and the father died at a hospital.
