Deputies responded to a home where Daniel Hernandez-Lopez, appearing highly intoxicated, argued with and allegedly strangled a woman. He then went outside and lunged at his son, attempting to hit him with a bicycle. The boy fought back by punching his father multiple times in the face, rendering him unconscious.
Arrest and Charges
Hernandez-Lopez was booked into Baldwin County Jail on March 10 at 1:40 p.m. He faces domestic violence strangulation charges. Jail records and his mugshot show severe facial injuries, including bloody, swollen eyes and lips. No attorney has commented, and the sheriff’s office hasn’t responded to media inquiries.
