Dajuan Patrick, 27, from Florida, faces aggravated manslaughter charges for the death of his 5-week-old daughter, Dahlia Siebenhaar, due to severe abusive injuries.

Dahlia was hospitalized unresponsive on December 2, 2024, with extensive head trauma, broken ribs, body bruising, and retinal hemorrhages from being shaken and gripped with extreme force. She remained on life support without regaining consciousness and died on December 12, 2024, per medical and autopsy reports.
Arrest and Charges
Investigators identified Patrick as the caregiver responsible after interviews revealed his history of shaking and spanking the infant. Arrested over a year later in Jacksonville on a Volusia County warrant, he remains in custody without bond at Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, awaiting formal Volusia charges. Sheriff Mike Chitwood emphasized speaking for the voiceless child whose life mattered.
