Exciting New Store Opening in Pittsburg, California
One of the highly anticipated new stores will open in Pittsburg, California, on June 27. The new 23,000 square-foot location has been under construction since 2023 and is set to open in the Shoppes at San Marco. Local officials are celebrating Sprouts’ arrival, with Chamber of Commerce CEO Wolfgang Croskey expressing his excitement, especially as Pittsburg is considered a “food desert.” The addition of Sprouts is expected to help bring better access to quality grocery options for residents.
During the announcement ceremony in 2023, Croskey praised the company for choosing Pittsburg, as efforts to attract other grocery stores had fallen short. “Sprouts is the one who chose Pittsburg,” he said, underscoring the importance of the store for the community.
Grand Opening Celebration
To mark the opening, Sprouts will host a pop-up party from June 27 to June 29, packed with exciting events and giveaways. The first 200 customers on Friday and Saturday will receive free reusable goodie bags filled with special products and samples. In addition, the first 400 guests will be gifted long-stemmed roses. Shoppers can also enjoy up to 20% off their purchases during the weekend by texting BURG to 777-688 and scanning their Sprouts app account barcode at checkout. This discount applies to one Sprout account per day, with a maximum of $20 savings.

The upcoming locations include stores in Fountain Hills, Arizona, and Venice, Florida. The Fountain Hills store, which will be over 23,000 square feet, has been highly requested by local residents. Economic development director Amanda Jacobs commented, “The Fountain Hills residents have been asking for a specialty grocery store since I started with the Town over three years ago.”
