Amanda McClure, 48, of Toledo, Ohio, was arrested on May 27 after an alleged assault involving lighter fluid, according to the Toledo Police Department.

Details of the Incident

Police responded to a call regarding a physical altercation and encountered McClure and another unidentified individual. Officers said McClure sprayed lighter fluid on the victim and was holding a lighter at the time. She also allegedly hit the person and pulled their hair.

When asked if she intended to kill the victim, McClure reportedly responded, “Maybe,” according to an affidavit reviewed by Law&Crime.

Charges and Court Proceedings

McClure was charged with felonious assault and booked into the Lucas County Corrections Center. She is being held on a $100,000 bond, and a temporary no-contact order was issued.

Her next court appearance is scheduled for June 4, 2026.
