Deputies are investigating the death of a woman found unresponsive in a vehicle near a busy Richland County road on Saturday.
Woman Found Unresponsive on Leesburg Road
The Richland County Sheriff’s Department reported that deputies were called around 9:45 a.m. to the 1700 block of Leesburg Road after reports of an unresponsive woman in a vehicle.
Coroner’s Office Assists in Investigation
The Richland County Coroner’s Office was called to the scene to help determine the cause and manner of death. Preliminary details from deputies suggest the death does not appear suspicious, but officials have deferred to the coroner for further information.
