A Texas man has been accused of assaulting his defense attorney shortly after being sentenced to 50 years in prison for murder. The Attack on the Defense Attorney
Lewis had pleaded guilty to the murder of Johnson, who was fatally shot while standing on his balcony in Houston on April 18, 2024. After receiving the maximum sentence of 50 years, Lewis allegedly punched his attorney, John Petruzzi, in the face.
