Authorities in Florence County have arrested a suspect in connection with a deadly shooting that occurred earlier this month.
Arrest and Charges
According to the Florence County Sheriff’s Office, Christopher James Robinson has been taken into custody following the April 10 shooting on Coventry Lane.
Robinson is facing multiple charges, including:
- Murder
- Possession of a weapon by a convicted felon
- Possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime
Details of the Shooting
Investigators say Robinson allegedly shot the victim multiple times with a handgun, resulting in the victim’s death.
Officials have not yet released the name of the victim, but the Florence County Coroner’s Office is expected to do so.
Suspect in Custody
Robinson is currently being held at the Florence County Detention Center as he awaits a bond hearing.
