A Dillon teenager is facing a serious charge after deputies say he fired into an occupied vehicle earlier this month in Marion County.
Teen Charged in Shooting Incident
According to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, 17-year-old Douglas Isaiah Ford has been charged with attempted murder.
Authorities say the incident occurred on April 4 along Rhedin Road.
Details Limited on Incident
Deputies have not released many details about what led to the shooting or how many people were inside the vehicle at the time.
It is also unclear whether anyone was injured.
Arrest and Custody Status
Ford was taken into custody and booked into the Marion County Detention Center on Tuesday.
