Goose Creek Police Department officers responded to a shooting call on North Pandora Drive on Thursday afternoon, January 15, 2026, where they found Arianna Epps suffering a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the arm. The incident stemmed from an altercation between a juvenile suspect and Cameron Dixon, during which Epps intervened and was accidentally shot, while Dixon sustained a graze wound and bruise.

Investigation Findings

Officers recovered multiple shell casings and noted conflicting statements from witnesses at the scene, confirming the suspect targeted Dixon initially. The juvenile fled but was later identified and apprehended at a local hospital with a self-inflicted or related gunshot wound to the abdomen.

Suspect Charges

Police charged the juvenile as an adult with two counts of assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature, plus one count of robbery; all victims received hospital treatment and were stabilized. The investigation remains ongoing with one person detained.
