An 18-year-old has been arrested for a spree of home burglaries in North Charleston.

An 18-year-old man, Gerbrell De’Angelo Choice, was arrested Thursday night in North Charleston for multiple home burglaries occurring in September and November 2025. Items stolen included firearms, a generator, power tools, and an air-conditioning unit across the three incidents [query].

Choice faces two counts of first-degree burglary, one count of second-degree burglary, two counts of grand larceny, two counts of obtaining goods under false pretenses, and pointing and presenting a firearm at a woman on November 30 [query]. Prior Incident

Earlier in October 2025, Choice was arrested for a second-degree burglary on Kent Avenue after a standoff involving drones and K-9 units, where he hid in a garage on Bailey Drive. A second man, Robert Griffin, was charged as an accessory in that case.
