North Charleston, South Carolina – Several Lowcountry towns will honor veterans on Tuesday, with the City of North Charleston hosting its own ceremony.
This Veterans Day, the city will hold its 23rd annual homage to honor the bravery and sacrifices of those who serve in the United States Armed Forces.
From 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Mayor Reggie Burgess, the City Council, and members of the community will gather at the North Charleston Performing Arts Center to honor our nation’s soldiers.
In honor of Veterans Day, North Charleston trash collection and Dorchester County recycling pickup will be shifted by one day for the rest of the week.
City offices will also be closed for the holiday.
