Kiawah Island, South Carolina — The Charleston County Board of Elections has certified the official results of the Town of Kiawah Island municipal election held on November 4.
Bradley D. Belt was chosen mayor with 243 votes, according to the board’s declaration. Belt was originally elected mayor in a special election in 2024, following John D. Labriolar’s early resignation.
The election gives him a full term in office.
For Town Council, E. Luke Farrell won 230 votes, while Madeleine Kaye garnered 240.
Belt, Farrell, and Kaye will be sworn in publicly on Monday, November 10, at noon in the Town Council Chambers.
According to town officials, the public is invited to attend with no RSVP required.
