Charleston, South Carolina – A 21-year-old male was killed early Saturday morning after an argument at a Halloween party escalated into a fatal shooting, according to the Charleston County Coroner’s Office.

Aden Gore, of Charleston, died on the scene of gunshot wounds. The gunfire also injured another male, who was brought to a local hospital for treatment, according to the Charleston Police Department.

Officers came to the 930 NoMo apartment complex on Morrison Drive around 12:45 a.m. and discovered Mr. Gore dead in the hallway.

Investigators suspect a disagreement erupted during a Halloween party at the property, which escalated to shooting. Several people are suspected of shooting during the confrontation.

The NoMo complex does contain some College of Charleston students, but officials confirmed that none of the ‘main parties’ involved in the incident were students.

Police have yet to identify suspects in relation with the event. An investigation is ongoing.

Charleston Police ask that anybody with information or video call the agency at 843-720-2422 and ask for the on-duty Central Detective.
