Arrests made in auto-entry case in Augusta, RCSO said

AUGUSTA, Georgia – The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office announced Friday that three people had been apprehended after multiple vehicles were illegally entered.

According to the RCSO, officers arrived to the Parc at Flowing Wells Apartments on Wednesday, Oct. 22 at around 6:30 a.m. due to several entering auto reports.

Officers also got a search warrant for a car that reportedly “contained numerous items stolen from several entering autos, including firearms.”

Following the investigation, deputies apprehended the following suspects:

Anario Carter was charged with nine counts of entering an automobile, one offense of financial transaction card theft, and one count of financial transaction card fraud.

Jonathan Guidry was charged with nine counts of entering an automobile and one count of possessing a firearm by a convicted felon.

Janiah Robinson has been charged with falsely reporting a crime, making false statements, and obstructing the prosecution.
