North Charleston, South Carolina – On Wednesday, a 30-year-old guy was arrested after being found with illegal substances.
Taron Bernard German Jr., of West Ashley, has been charged with trafficking fentanyl, possession of schedule II substances, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, criminal conduct toward a child, and unlawful stop/standing.
Around 8:15 p.m. on Monday, North Charleston cops saw a motorist, subsequently identified as German, slumped down in a seat, attempting to conceal from authorities near Kraft Avenue and Ubank Street.
The North Charleston Police Department reported that a minor was present in the passenger seat.
When authorities arrived, they noticed two marijuana blunts next to the driver.
During a probable cause search, agents discovered 35.6 grams of marijuana, 10.6 grams of fentanyl pills,.5 grams of white fentanyl powder,.6 grams of grey fentanyl powder, and 116.5 grams of a green liquid suspected of morphine in a baby bottle.
They also discovered drug paraphernalia and $941 in cash. German was sent to the Al Cannon Detention Center.
