Calling all beach lovers and creative minds—it’s time to dig in! The 35th Annual Piccolo Spoleto Sand Sculpting Competition is set to take over Front Beach at Isle of Palms on Saturday, June 1st, starting at 9:00 AM.
This cherished local tradition invites artists of all ages and skill levels to showcase their sandy masterpieces. Whether you’re a solo sculptor or part of a creative crew, this is your chance to shine—literally and figuratively—under the South Carolina sun.
Competition Divisions Include:
- Children (14 & under)
- Young Adult (15–20)
- Family (1 adult + 1 child or young adult minimum)
- Adult (21 & up)
Trophies and bragging rights are up for grabs for the top three in each division, as well as in special categories like:
- Most Creative
- Best Architectural
- Best in Show – Overall
Pro tip: Teams are welcome, but keep it to four people max.
And yes—free t-shirts are back! The first 200 participants to register will snag one, while supplies last (sizes limited, so don’t wait!).
