What Happened?

According to the Charleston Police Department, three people entered the Publix grocery store at 10 Westedge Street on July 9, 2025, and allegedly stole several items. A few days later, on July 15, another person was seen shoplifting at the same location.

Police say the man from the second incident was wearing a shirt that read:
“The Bud Light Drinking Cousin.”

Authorities believe these cases may be related or part of a pattern and are working to identify the individuals involved.
